This project focuses on strengthening the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial use (AMU) surveillance systems and laboratory capacities for diagnosis in both the human and animal sectors. Activities to strengthen these systems include supporting the establishment of a national One Health framework, bringing together multi-sectoral stakeholders to collect and share surveillance data and gain a better understanding of AMR and AMU, and recording and disseminating AMR data analyses through national platforms.
